“When you’re that young, you don’t understand what cancer is, what it does, or why people are sad and upset.”
Torry Holt was 10 and his younger brother Terrence was six when their mother Ojetta was diagnosed with lymphoma. After she passed away, they made a commitment to helping children who have a parent with cancer. The Holt Brothers Foundation was founded to deliver on that promise.
The Foundation supports KidsCan!, an educational and peer empathy program for kids with a parent with cancer, and Camp Kesem, a sleep-away camp for children ages 6–16 who have a parent with cancer.
Programs are funded by sponsors and partners who take part in the Foundation’s fundraising events. You can help the cause by supporting our first ever Playoff Party on January 19. You won’t want to miss this Super Bowl themed event. It’s all for the kids!
